Shop Till You Drop!

Paris passed this tag to me because she knows that this new blog needs some boost and I’m also “famous” for being a shopaholic. :)

So, what shopping tips can I share? Mmm…let’s see….

It’s very simple. When you receive this tag, copy the whole list and add your own shopping tip to the bottom and pass it on.

1. Wear comfy clothing when you’re shopping. You don’t wanna fuss with too many laces and buttons when you’re trying clothes on. http://rinnah-marketplace.blogspot.com

2. When buying pants or jeans, try to try them on with a pair of heels so you know its the right length. If you don’t and wear it with heels later, you might find that it hangs at an awkward length. http://www.all-aboutshopping.com

3. Don’t just buy a designer brand because everyone has it or just to show it off. The best way of dressing is how to make a 50 bucks outfit looks like it worths more than 500 bucks. My Fashion World

I would like to learn some tips and tricks from:

Adidas by Stella McCartney

If you are an Adidas fan, you shouldn’t be missing the range designed by Stella McCartney. One of my friends is working with Adidas, and she has almost everything of the brand. You name it and she got it! However, she looks trendy in those sports wear, instead of being sporty. I am still learning how to dress well in sport wears as the only time I put them on is for my yoga class.

However, I think this pair of golf shoes is nice. I have no idea where mine is as I stopped playing for a few years. So I might want to get them if I’m playing again, assuming that I start up in the recent future!

I like the shoes!

But if you are bold and confident enough, get this swimsuit. It’s not something everyone can wear.

Marc Jacobs: Spring 2008 Collection

I love the Spring 2008 Ready-to-Wear by Marc Jacobs. Most of the designs are wearable, but there is some “naughtiness” in some of the designs that amused me. However, I found a few masterpieces that I like, as shown below:

So, bravo to the man!

However, I won’t get this pair of shoes. :P

I’m Still Looking for My Pumps

I have 2 pairs of pumps, one in brown and another pair in silver. However, I’m still looking for more. I just can’t find any which look as good as those branded pairs, like the nice pair from Louis Vuitton.

Seriously, I cannot afford that pair of shoes! So, what I’m trying to do now is looking for alternatives. It’s just too bad that I can’t find a nice pair with 2 color tones just like that. Gee…It’s RM3100 leh!!! Don’t tell me to get one!

So, I am crossing my fingers that I will find a pair of rounded pumps with thicker heels. Let’s see if I can find one.

Edited: I misspelled pumps as plumps :P . Thanks for the correction. LOL!

Great Fashion Blogs

I came across this article from Harper’s Bazaar about how influential some fashion blogs can be and most consumers will check out the blogs to get the reviews on the latest fashion products. If my blog can be like that one day, I will be over the moon!

Some of the great fashion blogs are:

So, I have more blogs to hop around now. But after reading some of those, I found that I still have a lot of learn about the fashion world, that’s why I started this blog on my own. Anyway, a blog whore like me can just start any domain out of the blue, but putting the effort in maintaining it is harder. So, I have to put in more effort in posting on this blog at least once a week.

Chanel’s Fall 2007 Collection

I’m a sucker for fashion, but I have never bought any branded clothes. What I will do is, I check out the latest collection from the runaway, but I will look for something similar at cheaper and affordable price. I refused to be a fashion victim, but just fashion conscious.

I love the collections from Chanel’s Fall 2007. Even if you see lots of coats and thicker clothing, but they are still feminine and will not make you look bulky. Here are some of my favorite:

BTW, there are a lot of checkers huh? And there are leggings everywhere. Boots are hot too, but I don’t fancy wearing them.

Mmm….Got a better idea what to look for now? I have! I’m going to look for these when I go shopping later.

Prada’s Fall-Winter Collection

When I was in Bali, I was some Prada handbags being sold at the airport duty free shop. But I have no intention to get any. The bags are nice, but Prada is not the kind of brand for me. I’m not the devil who wears Prada. LOL! Just kidding lah.

Most of the bags are about the same as the model shown above. Luckily I didn’t ask how much did they cost. I don’t think I can afford the bags!
