I’ve always loved Vera Wang’s bridal collections and I used to dream of owning her wedding gown. I didn’t have the budget to get one when I was married, so if I have a chance, I would surely love to have her gown, just to be added in my wardrobe. LOL!
I like her designs for Resort 2010, and it’s not hard to see that most of the designs are youthful and more brilliant in colors. She said that she was inspired by her daughters, who loved long tees over short shorts, which is something I like a lot as well! Thus, I really like her collection this time as it’s not hard to mix and match the items.
Long tees with short shorts. Check out the lace shorts too!
Some of the dresses are quite flattering too, thus most women can carry the look.
Check out the olive gold sequin racer-back tank dress, worn over a sleeveless white cotton T-shirt. I don’t have to worry about tugging in my tummy in these dresses!
Not to mention, the long dresses are lovely too, and I would love to have one!
I’ve never paid much attention to Jason Wu’s creations, until his name was made super famous after Michelle Obama wore his white gown to the inauguration ball. I must say, it’s great to see Jason Wu being in the limelight as not many Chinese designers make it big in fashion world.
I took a peep at Jason Wu’s Resort 2010 collection at Style.com and I found a few pieces which I like a lot…
But then, there are 2 items which I don’t want to see myself in…
I hate to be reminded about how bad the economy is, so even if I can’t afford to get Prada now, I still can’t resist myself from checking out Prada Resort 2010 collection. This collection highlighted pastel colors, scarf printed bikini briefs, candy color handbags, and those lovely ankle-tie sandals, and etc.
Here are some of my favorite looks:
This is my favorite piece of all. I like dresses in bold printed colors, and deep V neckline.
The Resort 2009 collection by Christian Dior is not only gorgeous, most of the sixties trend dresses are totally feminine bring you on a mood for a vacation. I simple love the designs by John Galliano and you will definitely look glamorous wearing the clothes from this collection.

I’m not a big fan of Versace because the clothes looked sl*tty to me previously. However, I changed my perspective now after watching the clip of Versace Fall 2008 Collection.
I love the clothes and bags from Salvatore Ferragamo because they are glamorous and classy. It’s so feminine, you will try to act like a lady if you are wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo. This Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear simple lovely and I think Cristina Ortiz did a great job in maintaining the unique style of the 80-year-old Ferragamo.
I like the jacket, it’s classic. That pair of shoes are pretty as well.
Wide-legged pants are hot.
An one off shoulder dress
A business suit for OL
A see through top which I love but won’t be wearing.
Check out the bag
A lovely halterneck for the evening.
If you would like to stand out in a sea of black, get something shining or metallic like this jacket.
I wanted to post about Gucci Fall 2008 Ready-To-Wear collection but I was to tied up with my trip to Bangkok. But it’s never too late to post about the pretty clothes now, so if you are a Gucci fan, check out the clothes from the stores. I prefer to take a sneak at the fashion runway and shop for something similar at a cheaper price though.
I like those embroidered blouses with short chiffon dresses or skirts, but the textiles of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan might not be a fashion trend here yet, but who knows? Maybe it will be very popular as months to come. On top of that, some of the mint coats might not be practical here, so you can just look at them as masterpieces. These coats and jackets are meant for the rich Russian women huh?
The evening wears are lovely too.
Besides that, how can we miss checking out the bags from Gucci?
If you are looking for a pair of new boots this fall, check out the design from Gucci. I think the boots bring out the jungle in me. LOL!
I browsed through Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2008 Collection and I felt like I was reading a fairy tale with lots of creatures like mermaids and fairies living in their fairyland. Contradict to my precious perception on his creations, I’m kind of like the designs as I think they are lovely.
I picked a few designs from the runway that I really like but can never afford! Besides that, where would you go with the dresses?
I love Calvin Klein especially their ready-to-wear and underwear for men. Too bad my hubby doesn’t fancy designer brands, if not I don’t mind getting a few items from CK for him.
It’s not so common to see guys in suits here in Malaysia, but don’t you think the streets will look better if we have guys that look as smart as him walking along with us? LOL!
I would love to see my man in this suit, but too bad, he’s not a guy who takes care of his look. Nonetheless, thre are various sportswear available for guys who go for casual look. If I’m a man, I will get these items….
The sweater is nice!
Don’t miss this jacket too.
Nice and polished huh?
In short, it’s spring but I can’t wait for fall. Italo Zucchelli did a wonderful job for Calvin Klein. Check out style.com for more detail shots.
When I first saw my aunt wearing a nice dress from Emporio Armani many years ago, I fell in love with the brand right away. She was slim, but the dress nicely exaggerated her curve and she looked gorgeous. If only I have the money to afford those ready-to-wear by Emporio Armani! I checked out the spring collection for 2008 and I really love them. Here are some of my favorite picks:
